Pancake Shop in Memphis

Food was good and service was excellent. Only had their breakfast today. Have not tried their lunch or dinner yet. Also, they are following the social distancing rule in case someone may be concerned about that issue.

I frequent this place often they have a great wait staff and they have great food. I suggest the everyday special or for lunch/ dinner the patrymelt . The pancake shop is a staple for memphis / summer ave. Also side note- they have very good coffee

I have been going to this restaurant since 1998. I loved it. Great service, friendly staff, and celebrated the collective of Memphis culture on display. The last couple times (years) it wa not. Same place, service was not good, the food was not cooked as ordered or with care. It was no longer special or a local find.

It's a good place to have breakfast but nothing that special

I've been here multiple times for breakfast! The chocolate pancakes are DELICIOUS!

If you're ever in the area, this place is an ABSOLUTE MUST! it's fresh, hot, and just the way you like it! The prices are unbeatable and so is the service. (It's also THE spot after a long night of partying. We found it by chance a few years ago.) Most of the time there is a wait, but I promise you, it's absolutely worth every second. Pancakes, waffles, and bacon OH MY! fresh hot coffee, an amazing meal, and fresh cold OJ to quench your appetite. You can thank me later.

Mrs. Gail was so kind and helpful. The food was awesome.

Breakfast. Lunch always great. Ate dinner there tonight. Catfish was good. Hushpuppies were black burnt. Fried squash and French fries way overcooked. Someone said had a new cook. Sounded like a party in the kitchen with rap music too loud. Guess I'll stick to breakfast and lunch.

I had biscuits and gravy and bacon that was pretty good. My eggs were not made to order. It took awhile for us to get our order but they were super busy so we completly understood. They only take cash.

First time I've been here in several years. I was pleasantly surprised! It was a very rainy Saturday morning! The place was packed! I was able to get in and out way faster than I expected!! The food was pretty good too! I had two eggs, three slices of bacon, hash browns, pancakes, and coffee for $10!!!!

This place was really good! The wait staff worked in tandem with each other to make sure we were regularly checked, which is SUPER important to us! I got four scrambled eggs and oatmeal, my friend got a Belgian waffle, and my fiancé got the endless stack of pancakes. Everything was EXTREMELY delicious, ESPECIALLY the pancakes, orange juice, and oatmeal! I asked that my eggs be scrambled hard, but they were a bit TOO dry; however, I'd rather have them too dry than too runny... I didn't ask my friend about his waffle, but given the fact that he INHALED it, I'm assuming it was mighty tasty 😊 I will DEFINITELY be going back and recommend this restaurant!

Excellent experience. Loved my omelette, the pancakes were loaded with blueberries, service was fast, and the price was great.

Great food with reasonable prices and friendly, attentive staff. Very busy but we sat right down , ordered quickly and the food was served quicker than expected and still hot. Eggs were good. Pancakes so big they were almost falling off the plate. Couldn't eat all the food.

I had the all you can eat pancakes: They were exceptional. Atop a nice atmosphere and friendly environment, the food is affordable. The Pancake Shop is a great buy.

You've got one of the best breakfast places here. Saturday and Sunday its standing room only. Want a good restaurant??? Look for long lines,

They have all kinds of different things for the menu. Not Just Breakfast. We've never had anything that we didn't like to eat there! Absolutely magnificent!!

It's a nice little breakfast cafe.

Service was good, food was quite good, and the prices are cheap compared to most restaurants. I just wish when you order a dish that comes with eggs as one of your sides, that you would get more than 1 egg.

Still great. Staff seems to be coping but I'm not sure if they're ready for their previous crowds when folks find out they're open. Good luck guys I'm sure y'all will do just fine. Miss your smiles.

As I ordered on the spot I expected my takeaway to be hot. It wasn't sad.

Terrible service. Waited for 20 minutes and never was even greeted. And there were only 8 customers on the restaurant!! There’s better service at a gas station. They clearly have enough money and business and don’t want or need mine. Or yours. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Great service for the price

It was great! The restaurant was clean, the service was very good and the food was delicious. That's what I call a "Triple Threat" so..it doesn't get any better than that!

We had heard very good reviews for The Pancake shop, that's why we chose to eat there. However we did find it a bit disappointing. They had a large selection on the menu. The selection included many fruit flavored pancakes, however the fruit was not fresh, it was more like a pie filling. Therefore we just ordered regular pancakes, no egg dishes at all. The pancakes were fine and the sausage is fine. Nothing special. We did try the biscuits because they also came highly recommended. And the biscuits were delicious! You may want to consider biscuit dishes over pancakes.

Traveled here from Minnesota, we were going to Graceland. We had Breakfast here, and it was so yummie. Best grits I have had, I didnt even have to put anything in them. I had their Dixie Breakfast it comes with red eye gravy, that was also yummie. Coffee was good, just basic diner coffee. I would recomend this place. Very good service and oh yeah, really good pancakes. But I would come back. Very very good!

My boyfriend took me here late in the evening and i really liked it. It's off Summer avenue, but don't worry the place is not sketchy. Cute diner that decorates for the holidays. Friendly staff and pretty good food. Cute place to grab brunch or even late night cravings. Oh and they are open 24/7. Just a nice, old school- style diner with nice vibes.

No frills. Laid back area with local Memphis decor. Large menu with plenty of options to fit your budget and taste buds! Friendly staff, limited seating due to health precautions and cash only payments. If you're hungry, you won't be disappointed!

Lots of variety, affordable and delicious eats. Fried stuff, decent gravy, good breakfast food. **Cash only. Atm inside restaurant though as option for no cash on hand.

My friend and I went this morning and our breakfasts were scrumptious. We both had pancakes: I had the walnut pancakes with banana slices and whipped cream on top, and my friend had the banana pancakes with whipped cream on top too.The waitresses were attentive and they all took care of us, making sure our coffees were always full and hot!Great restaurant!
